Taakulo Somali Community (TASCO), in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), is implementing a vital water infrastructure project aimed at strengthening sustainable water supply services in the Odwayne and Caynabo districts. We are currently inviting tenders from qualified and experienced construction firms for the Rehabilitation of the Odwayne Haffir Dam.
Haffir dams are essential for community resilience against drought, and this rehabilitation project is a key component of our long-term commitment to improving food security and water access in Somaliland. The project involves structural repairs and improvements to the existing dam infrastructure to ensure efficient water collection and storage for local disadvantaged communities.
Scope of Work:
Detailed rehabilitation of the Odwayne Haffir Dam structure as per the provided Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
Implementation of strengthening measures to ensure the sustainability of the water supply system.
Adherence to humanitarian engineering standards, emphasizing human dignity and long-term self-reliance.
Coordination with TAAKULO and WHH technical teams during the implementation phases.
