We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Engineer to join our Project Management department in Hargeisa.
This role is vital to our mission of providing high-quality educational, medical, and social infrastructure to disadvantaged nations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of architectural design and site supervision, ensuring that all relief and development structures are built to professional standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Drafting: Produce comprehensive 2D and 3D engineering drawings, including front views, side views, sections, and isometric plans.
Technical Software: Utilize AutoCAD and Architectural Revit (or equivalent) to develop detailed structural models.
Quantity Surveying: Perform accurate quantity take-offs, prepare payment certificates (progress claims), and handle contract preparation.
Site Management: Supervise contractors directly on-site to ensure adherence to engineering specifications and safety protocols.
Reporting: Maintain effective communication with the Head of Project Management and provide regular updates on construction progress and technical challenges.
