Amal Real Estate and Construction Co. is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Engineer to lead its engineering and construction operations in Garowe.
The Chief Engineer holds the highest-level engineering position within the company and will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and oversight to ensure the successful execution of all engineering, construction, and production projects. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
The Chief Engineer will oversee all engineering and construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves strategic planning, quality assurance, compliance management, resource allocation, and team leadership.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
Monitor performance of consultants and construction activities (cost, quality, and time control)
Develop and execute engineering, construction, and production strategies aligned with company goals
Provide visionary leadership to promote innovation and excellence
Oversee engineering and construction projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Provide technical guidance to engineers, architects, and production teams
Ensure compliance with engineering, construction, and safety regulations
Implement and maintain quality management systems
Manage and allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively
Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and project budgets
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures
Conduct internal audits and collaborate with regulatory authorities
Lead, mentor, and evaluate engineering teams to foster continuous improvement
Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum 10 Years of relevant experience in engineering and construction
Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or senior engineering leader in the real estate and construction industry
Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and construction techniques
Strong understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and standards
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex projects
High level of accountability and professional integrity
Extended working hours, including weekends if required
Outdoor work in various weather and construction site conditions
Mobility between different project sites as needed
