CTG (Committed To Good) is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Program Associate to support the implementation of program activities in Kismayo, Jubaland State, Somalia. CTG provides specialized human resource and staffing solutions for humanitarian and development organizations operating in complex and high-risk environments.
Established in 2006, CTG works in more than 35 countries and supports over 11,000 staff members delivering critical services to international organizations, NGOs, and government partners. The organization supports global initiatives through services including HR management, monitoring and evaluation, logistics and fleet management, facilities management, IT professional services, election monitoring, sustainability advisory, and medical assistance.
The Senior Program Associate will support the implementation of activities under the Nabadaynta Program, an initiative focused on strengthening safety, security, and access to justice within Somali communities. The program works in partnership with government institutions, justice and security providers, community leaders, and civil society groups to address local security challenges and develop collaborative solutions.
The Nabadaynta Program operates in multiple locations including Baidoa, Xudur, Kismayo, and Doolow. The program promotes inclusive participation by working with community-based structures such as Community Action Forums, Police Advisory Committees, Elders’ Councils, youth groups, and peace committees. A key objective of the program is to ensure the inclusion of marginalized and vulnerable individuals in local decision-making processes related to security and justice.
The successful candidate will work under the overall supervision of the Nabadaynta Program Manager and the direct supervision of the Area Coordinator. The Senior Program Associate will play a critical role in supporting coordination, monitoring activities, reporting progress, and strengthening partnerships with stakeholders at the community and institutional levels.
Support the implementation and monitoring of program activities at project locations according to project objectives and timelines.
Participate in coordination meetings including town halls, cluster meetings, and community consultations.
Engage regularly with Nabadaynta program beneficiaries and support community-level training and capacity-building initiatives.
Contribute to maintaining and expanding partnerships with community leaders, government authorities, and justice and security actors.
Provide local knowledge and technical input to improve program delivery and coordination.
Support collaboration between the program, embedded advisors, service providers, and district leadership structures.
Assist in identifying opportunities for collaboration with other security and justice initiatives operating in the region.
Provide weekly written updates on the political, social, and security context within project locations.
Support monitoring of local partners and service providers to ensure effective project implementation.
Identify potential program risks and propose mitigation strategies while maintaining records within the project risk register.
Assist in drafting activity concept notes, proposal sections, and program documentation for new initiatives.
Collect data and support monitoring and evaluation processes in coordination with the M&E team.
Contribute to reporting on program achievements and progress against indicators defined in the results framework.
