World Vision International (WVI) is a global relief, development, and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. In response to escalating drought conditions in Somaliland, World Vision is currently planning a critical water trucking intervention within the Odweyne district.
The goal of this service is to support vulnerable populations and bolster community resilience by providing immediate access to clean water. We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from registered, approved, and reputable suppliers who have the capacity and equipment to manage large-scale water distribution in challenging environmental conditions.
Scope of Work & Requirements:
Service Delivery: Provision of reliable water trucking services to designated community sites within Odweyne.
Compliance: Interested bidders must be officially registered to provide goods and services within Somaliland.
Capacity: Suppliers must demonstrate the ability to maintain water quality standards and adhere to strict delivery schedules to support drought-affected households.
Sustainability: This project aims to address the underlying causes of vulnerability by ensuring consistent water access during periods of socio-economic and environmental shock.
