Field Marketing & Client Acquisition Officer (5 Positions)-Volunteer Opportunity:

Role Objective

We are looking for 5 dynamic, highly influential, and proactive Marketing Officers. Your mission is to drive platform adoption by onboarding high-value B2B clients—including INGOs, LNGOs, UN agencies, government ministries, public institutions, and private corporations—as well as individual job seekers and consultants. This position combines professional corporate sales with active community outreach.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Channel Client Outreach: Initiate contact with potential employers and clients via professional phone calls, targeted emails, and structured WhatsApp communication to introduce Horn Jobs services.
  • Intelligence & Contact Data Collection: Systematically research, collect, and compile the names, official emails, and direct contact details of HR Managers, Procurement Officers, and key decision-makers across all target organizations, including the public and government sectors.
  • B2B Pitching & Account Setup: Physically visit corporate offices, NGO compounds, and public institutions to pitch our advertising services, Recruiter Services (ATS software), the HornPro Network, and institutional tender/training advertising and funds for NGOs and Businesses.
  • Community & Grassroots Marketing: Organize physical group meetings, informational sessions, and public gatherings to raise brand awareness.
  • Social Networking & Material Distribution: Actively visit public hubs, professional networks, and social gatherings where job seekers, professionals, and business owners congregate to network, deliver presentations, and distribute promotional leaflets, brochures, and marketing materials.
  • Community Growth: Actively recruit independent professionals and specialized consultants to join the HornPro network while encouraging job seekers to activate automated Horn Jobs alerts.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Degree or ongoing studies in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Sales & Multi-Channel Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to pitch services and handle objections confidently over the phone, via professional text (WhatsApp/Email), and in face-to-face environments.
  • Database Management: Disciplined ability to organize, track, and maintain accurate contact lists of organizational decision-makers.
  • Public Speaking & Networking: Comfortable speaking in front of groups, organizing community events, and initiating conversations in diverse social settings.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and the primary working language of your target hub (e.g., Somali, Amharic, or Swahili).
