The Regional Representative, Sales and Clients coordinator (RR-SCC) will lead, manage and support the staff and volunteers in one designated target region(s). S/he may lead, manage and support the marketing and operations teams in his designated region. RR-SCC will coordinate the company’s activities in the target region and neighbouring regions. S/he will report to the Country Representative/Marketing Coordinator or will report to the managing director if CR/MOC is unavailable.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- MARKETING AND SALES AND GETTING CONTRACTS
- INGO/UN-GOVTS' and Local NGOs and businesses (All targets)
- Share the company profile with different organizations and government institutions-both hard & soft copies
- Make a list of potential clients and prioritize them in order of their importance in your designated region.
- Contact the organizations & ministries using the available telephone and emails and reach the decision-makers
- Collect the emails and mobiles of the key decision-makers and the organizational contacts

- Make appointments and meet the decision makers physically and present Horn Jobs & FUNABSUCAD services

- Convince them to use Horn Jobs for advertising jobs, consultancies & tenders
- Get contracts or service agreement from the clients for using Horn jobs as an advertising platform
- Follow up the high-value customers with calls and physical visits.
- follow up the decision-makers and the staff to know the potential opportunities in advance and prepare for the opportunities
- write appreciation emails to the potential clients met and link with the representatives in each location
- Send emails to potential clients for whom we advertise their jobs freely to get connections and request them to use our platform and recruitment services.
- Conduct email advertisement campaigns continuously to make the website & companies more visible and preferable
- Participate in coordination meetings organized by different organizations and ministries and preset the Horn Jobs and FUNABUSCAD services
- Contact NGO consortium coordinator and ask them to include Horn Jobs in the agenda in coming months.
- Participate in NGO Consortium coordination meetings and present Horn Jobs & FUNABUSCAD services
- LOCAL NGOS AND BUSINESSES USE FUNDING INFORMATION HUB
- Collect the list of NGOs and contact numbers in your region from the registering authority
- Share the Horn Jobs and FUNABUSCAD services to the local NGOs by email
- Make a list of potential clients and prioritize them in order of their importance in your region
- Contact the organizations using the available telephone and emails and reach the decision-makers
- Collect the emails and mobiles of the key decision-makers and the organizational contacts

- Convince them to use Horn Jobs and FUNABUSCAD for advertising jobs, consultancies & tenders

- Conduct market research or market assessments to determine if the company’s specialized services and products are required and are in high demand in your target region(s) by adapting and filling in pre-designed market assessment/research questionnaires.
- Develop or participate in the development of marketing plans and strategies and ensure the implementation of the plan on quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily bases.
- Negotiate and win contracts with the above-mentioned clients and high value customers
- Market the products and services of the company as effectively and efficiently as possible
- Conduct market research or market assessments to identify new potential business opportunities as directed by the line-manager
- PUBLIC WORK STREAM (PEOPLE AND BUSINESSES)
- Identify the target groups and where they are available
- Organize meeting with the public and university students, graduates/unemployed and promote Horn Jobs Services
- Develop or share videos that attract the public especially the job seekers
- Encourage them to refer the people to the website and to get commission (referral marketing)
- Advertise Horn Jobs services on the Facebooks and other social media for 1-3 months
- Prepare video lessons (one per week)
- Share the animated and produced videos and upload to YouTube one per week & other social media (Facebook)
- Promote Income Pathfinder Training Programme suitable for the unemployed people and those aspiring promotion
- Prepare training programme (one per week) and organize the training in your region or area-
- Announce the training dates and circulate to the potential clients/customer
- Conduct the training programmes online or face to face
- Monitor and evaluate the training programme
- ADVERTISEMENT OF THE WEBSITE
- Prepare effective advertisement
- Advertise Horn jobs and FUNABUSCAD services on the Facebook and other social media to cover Horn of Africa countries
- Circulate the advertisement on social media
- conduct email advertisement campaigns
- Collect Face-book and social media accounts of the potential clients
- Share the company profile with different organizations (4-10)
- list the key advertisers, get connections & build relationships and visit them
- Look for opportunities and jobs and broadcast on the website
- Make a youtube channel and Linkedlin for cross-advertisements
- Network with influential individuals and organizations
- Use AI to to repetitive and time-consuming tasks.
- HR (MARKETING PARTNERS)
- Advertise the volunteer marketing partners/officers in your designated region
- Make a list of all applicants and shortlist
- Evaluate and finalize the final shortlist
- Interview the short-listed candidate
- Select the best candidates based on their ability to influence others.
- Manage marketing partners, volunteers and enumerators in your region or area
- CONSULTANCY ASSIGNMENTS
- Conduct assessment on consultancy opportunities in your region, area or neighboring regions/areas and identify opportunities and what organizations, government and businesses need in your region.
- Inform the office in advance the potential opportunities to ensure that we are fully prepared.
- Write the first draft consultancy proposal to respond to the advertisement to enhance your skills or participate in writing consultancy proposals and research or training.
- Follow up the submitted proposals and try to secure the consultancy contracts through lobbying where needed.
- Prepare the consultancy implementation plan when successful and conduct the assignments
- Manage enumerators and volunteers during the consultancy and ensure they are fully engaged and prepared for such assignments
- Ensure that the clients are happy by filling out the client satisfaction form and ensure that any issue is addressed immediately.
Requirements (person specification)
- You must have a degree or higher in marketing, business management, communication or relevant degree from recognized university or college.
- You must have at least 3 years’ experience in NGOs, UN-agencies, government or businesses preferably in marketing, business management, operations etc in the Somali context.
- You have at least 2 years experience in managing and supervising teams.
- You have at least 1 year experience of working with or providing services to INGOs, UN-agencies, and government institutions, and businesses in your target regions
- You must have a good network & relationships with the decision-makers of those organizations and NGOs/UN-agencies and corporate businesses in your designated regions.
- You have the ability to convince the decisions-makers of these institutions in your target region to use our company’s specialized services, offer contracts and buy our products.
- You must be highly organized, experienced and skilled in completing projects timely as per the contracts.
- You must have excellent spoken and written Somali and good English language skills.
- You must be a good communicator, effectively communicating with all clients and customers.
- You must be a social person and have the ability to approach or be approached by others.
- You must have the ability to work in stressful situations and under pressure and ensure that team succeeds under pressure.
- You must have good listening, mentoring and coaching skills.
- You must have planning, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- You be must patient, confident, hard-working and the ability to get tasks done.
- You must be able to work with people from different cultural backgrounds.
- You must be living or willing to live in your designated Region or city.
- 2 years experience in accounting is highly preferred
- 2 years experience in ICT especially editing Microsoft-word documents is highly preferred
- You must be able to keep the company and marketing information strictly confidential
- You must be willing to learn to enhance your skills and competencies to grow within or outside the company
