Role Objective
We are seeking 3 talented, visually creative Multimedia Producers to bring the Horn Jobs and CEEJOB brands to life through high-quality video, photography, and audio production. You will be responsible for filming live expert-led career development sessions, producing engaging promotional materials for our 3PPP program, and creating distinct, viral short-form video updates that display live jobs, consultancies, and tenders to millions across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Production & Content Creation: Shoot and produce high-impact, engaging short-form videos (for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form content (for YouTube and LinkedIn) showcasing platform features, hot job listings, and client testimonials.
- Expert Session Recording: Record, log, and clean up audio/video for live career development workshops, training masterclasses, and expert panels hosted by senior Horn Jobs consultants.
- CEEJOB & 3PPP Media Promotion: Develop compelling promotional videos explaining the value of the Center for Innovative Employment and the Prosperity Pathfinders' Programme ($2,450 value) to drive registrations.
- Corporate & Event Photography: Take professional, high-resolution photographs at corporate networking events, public gatherings, and social meetups. Capture executive headshots for job seekers using the Horn Jobs professional CV building platform.
- Post-Production & Editing: Trim, color-correct, add motion graphics, integrate kinetic typography, and edit raw footage into flawless, fast-paced digital assets using tools like InVideo, CapCut, or professional desktop editing software.
- Asset Management: Organize a shared cloud database of raw footage, b-roll, photography assets, and graphic elements to ensure the wider social media team can access visual content instantly.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Academic Background or Portfolio: Ongoing studies or a degree in Media Production, Film, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related creative field. A link to a portfolio or showreel of previous video/photo work is mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid experience with video editing tools (e.g., InVideo, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro) and photo editing software.
- Equipment Access: Access to a reliable smartphone with an excellent camera capability, or a DSLR/Mirrorless camera setup, along with a computer capable of seamless video rendering.
- Visual Storytelling Instincts: Ability to take complex professional topics (like recruitment, corporate tenders, and NGO funding frameworks) and translate them into simple, visually gripping, short-form media.
- Language Proficiency: Working proficiency in English. Ability to understand regional languages (Somali or Swahili) for editing localized video tracks is a strong advantage.
