Job Summary
The Displacement and Economic domain advisor under the Climate Justice, Food and Water Systems (CJFWS) Program Pillar has advisory role in ensuring quality design and implementation of NAGAASHO inception phase and support CARE Somalia's programs largely for effective in positively impacting the wellbeing of vulnerable women and girls in Somalia. Precisely, this role involves coordination of NAGAASHO project specially on climate and economic components across the consortium members, ensuring that plans under the project are aligned with the Somalia Country strategy 2024-30, and delivering on time and to organization and donor standards.
The Displacement and Economic domain adviser has overall responsibility for several NAGAASHO inception phase activities relevant to this domain in close collaboration with Climate and Social domains. Also, S/he tailors program/portfolio reflecting thorough understanding of team capacities, organizational priorities, resources, partner needs, and operational/technological context as NAGAASHO project has number of consortium members with diverse challenging operational regions.
The Displacement and Economic domain adviser collaborates with the NAGAASHO Consortium Coordinator and CJWFSN Pillar Coordinator to inform and guide program development and advancement of organizational strategic directions. S/he works together with the Program Quality and Development Team to ensure that learning from the project during the inception phase is used to continually improve, and develop new, strategies, tools and approaches that will proactively address root causes of vulnerability and have a beneficial impact in the lives of Somalia's most vulnerable individuals.

Qualifications
Education: Masters degree in Economics, Social Justice, Law and displacement, Development studies or relevant fields.
